Healthy Community Healthy Kids sponsors the Youth Asset Building Program, which offers assistance with activity fees for youth to participate in activities that build developmental assets. These activity fees are available to Bemidji area youth ages five to eighteen, so they may participate in activities they would otherwise be unable
to access. Activities can include involvement in arts, music and science programs, school activities, music lessons, dance lessons... and many more.
 

     The one-page application form is completed by the youth (or a parent for younger children) and reviewed individually by a selection committee every two weeks. Activity fees awarded are then sent directly to the activity provider.
